the driver who plowed a truck into a group of soldiers in jerusalem, kiling four people and injuring at least 10, may have been an isis sympathizer, according to isreli prime minister benjamin netanyahu. but he did not outline evidense to support the claim. netanyahu posted photos of the four soldiers on facebook with this message: "i am mourning the loss of our four soldiers who were murdered today in the terrorist attack in jerusalem. in the name of al the people of isrel, i offer my condolences to their families." isreli police shot and kiled the attack suspect, who they identified as 28- grade -old fadi qunbar. police have also arrested nine other suspects, including five of qunbar's family members. the palestinian man, who has since been shot dead, drove a tractor into a group of soldiers. an emergency meeting of the isreli security cabinet approved detention without trial for is sympathisers. three women and a man, al in their twenties, were kiled in the attack and 17 others were wounded, police said. cctv footage showed the truck ploughing at high speed into the soldiers, before reversing over the victims. "he drove backward to crush more people," eyewitness leah schreiber told reporters. "that was really clear." the isrel defense forces tweeted that the dead soldiers were lt yel yekutiel, 20; lt shir hajaj, 22; 2nd lt erez orbach, 20 and 2nd lt shira tzur, 20. other soldiers shot the driver dead. nine people were arrested in a raid on his neighbourhood, including five members of his family.
